chinese "niu" year 2009

this year's cny was a lil different compared to the previous years. i spent my 2nd and 3rd day of cny visiting my high school friends' houses. it's been way too long since i last talked to em. it was great to catch up once again. :) just wayyy too many things to talk bout. i spent my entire day with em on the 3rd day. i lost about 10 dollars at the end of the day. lol. but i had fun. wouldn't be able to put on a smile that night without them. thanx. 

was unhappy that i didn't get to c sharon at allz though. :( sigh* one of my besties from malacca, n i didn't get to c her at all this hols. sigh* wat happened la. hai!!

OH mY

my gawd. my 2 months plus holidays are ending very very soon. can't believe that it's coming to an end. well, actually, not just yet. still have cny :) only bought a top for cny though.. haha.. damn pathetic.

been a whirlwind month. sis just got to know that she was pregnant 3 days ago. everyone in the family is so happy. as a future dietitian, i am very very conscious with my sis's diet. been telling her wat to eat n wat not to eat. although she dun really listen to me. +_+ sigh* she's so obsessed with rootbeer at the moment. haha. weirdo. been helping her with her house chores as well.

um, did some cooking n baking for the past few weeks too. :) very happy. think i found my new love. my love for cooking n baking :) just made chocolate pancakes today. so far, my faves are my banananut muffins, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and jamie oliver's blooming brilliant chocolate brownie. DELISH! :) must try!!! will be making more cookies this week as cny is just around the corner :)

sorry for the slow updates. been busy helping sis packing n cleaning her house in muar. yeap, she's moving into a new house in melaka by cny :) and i'm moving in with her as well. (i mean when i'm on my holidays). can't wait. just went furniture shopping with her today. and it's such a tedious task, eg, finding matching furnitures for different parts of the house, which means the need to have very good imagination, to visually arrange the furnitures; the need to have good bargaining skills to make sure we dun go over our budget. tsk tsk. i prefer houses that are fully furnished. less fuss to deal with. also, i prefer apartments :). modern types. white... glass.. baby blue.. squarish.. plasma tv... lol.. :)

btw, will be going to sg tomorrow nite till tuesday~ n will be off to kl on wed till fri..or sat.. not too sure yet!!! :) will update soon :) *hugs*

just met up with ivy 2 days back. was really fun catching up with her. we've been friends for 12 years? omg. lost count... n our bond is still strong. n i hope it stays like this forever. hehe. i'm glad i have her in my life. i can tell her everything, my dark secrets and still, she never judge me. instead, she will try to make me feel better bout myself. :) thanx for everything, vivi.

oh btw!! i forgot to mention bout how different ivy is now.. appearance wise. attitude still the same la.. funny n crazy :) her new hair really suits her n she's slimmer now. so proud of her makeover. hahaha :) think guys will be falling all over her.. rite?


i had some no transfat blueberry cream cheesecake, while ivy had chocolate indulgence.. n no, i'm not on a diet. just that i never had it before arh.. it was so-so . =-='' only love the cream actually.. i'm a big fan of cream. :) i'm a big fan of everything fattening.... haha..

oh oh.. ivy bought me a christmas pressie :) love it very much.. the scent is light and sweet, perfect for every day use. ivy always buy me the perfect present. probably cos she knows me too well. haha.i wasn't a perfume fanatic till last month when my housemate introduced me to different fragrances while we were in myer. i actually liked the guy perfumes more. dunhill especially. :)

after blabbing, we went to the Jeti to have a walk.. finally there's a place to walk at nite, that is safe... i guess. they have these mini car ride for those who r lazy to walk to the end of jetty. like wtf? so lazy ha? =-='' the scenery from the jetty was not exactly pretty, but well, at least there's the eye on malaysia. at least something, rite? :)
